Q Ahsan is the founder and creative force behind Santa and Me Inc.®, Canada’s original supplier of personalized Christmas ornaments. Since founding the idea in 2004, Q has transformed it into a nationally recognized brand, with seasonal kiosks & stores across the country and a dedicated distribution centre. His focus on craftsmanship, original designs, and heartfelt customer experiences has made Santa and Me a holiday tradition in millions of homes and families across Canada.
A lifelong believer in the magic of storytelling and meaningful family traditions, Q expanded his creative vision into children’s literature with Jacy and the Maple Leaf, a proudly Canadian-published storybook reflecting his passion for family, imagination, and national identity. Santa and Me launched its franchise operations in 2009 and registered its trademark, solidifying its position as a trusted Canadian brand.
Q’s background blends technical expertise with entrepreneurship. He holds a Masters of Science with emphasis in Computer Science from South Dakota State University and was a PhD student in Robotics at the University of Manitoba. His diverse experiences as a researcher, systems analyst, and CEO of multiple ventures have shaped his unique approach to business.
Q lives in Calgary, Alberta, where he enjoys spending time with his family and dreaming up new ways to spread holiday cheer — one story, and one ornament, at a time.
